Goran Lazarević comes from Serbia where he graduated classical accordion in the class of Prof. Radomir Tomić. In 2013 he moved to Hamburg where he did “Kontaktstudium Neue Kompositionstechniken” with Prof. Helmut W.Erdmann and subsequently started Master Multimedia Composition with Prof. Dr. Georg Hajdu and Prof. Dr. Manfred Stahnke.His main spheres of interest lay in live-electronics, microtonal music, free improvisation and computer music, as well brain-computer musical interfaces (BCMI) and cognitive sciences. His works were performed in Hamburg, Hanover, Bayreuth, Karlsruhe, Tübingen and Lüneburg.Apart from his own work as a composer, performer and (still) a hobby researcher, Goran Lazarević is also active as an accordion and piano teacher. He was several times part of a “Klangradar 3000” project as a composition teacher and is currently also involved in Hamburg Open Online University (HOOU) project.Goran is proud to be a member of “Live-Elektronik-Ensemble Hamburg/Lüneburg “, “Oublie Loulou“ band and to have played with ensembles like Hamburger Camerata and TonArt and such artists as Manfred Stahnke, Michael Schröder, Alejandro Gomez, Henning Rietz, Martín Donoso Vera, Dirk Schattner, Adnan Fathallah and others.

Zunächst Rock- und Jazzschlagzeuger, dann Schlagzeugstudium, Solistenexamen, zahlreiche Stipendien, Reisen nach Afrika zum Studium der Maasai und Samburu, Gründungsmitglied des Ensembles L’ART POUR L’ART.Zusammenarbeit mit Komponisten und Interpreten wie John Zorn, David Moss, Elliott Sharp, Carla Bley, Malcolm Goldstein, Mauricio Kagel, Hans Werner Henze, Vinko Globokar, Hans Joachim Hespos, Alvin Lucier u.a.Tourneen in ganz Europa, Nord- und Südamerika, Afrika, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Indien und Kanada.CD Produktionen bei Wergo, col legno, Hat Hut, CPO, …Preise und Auszeichnungen für die Einspielungen und andere kulturelle Aktivitäten… Zuletzt einen Echo Klassik Preis 2012 und den Jahrespreis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik 2012.Als Komponist Autodidakt. Allerdings denkbar bester Kompositions-unterrichtdurch die Uraufführungen von über 300 Werken anderer Komponisten. Musician, improviser and composer of electro-acoustic music, active on the scene of Italian and European improvised music since the early '80s, he built a personal and expressive tonal palette that now includes the electronic treatment of sound.He plays various saxophones and live electronics. He improvises and performs. He has written several music and soundscapes for theater, documentaries and video installations, soundtracks for institutional videos, he actively collaborates with artists, dancers, filmmakers, poets. He teaches, conducts workshops and master classes on jazz and electro-acoustic improvisation.. . .Born in Milan on a quiet winter's day.Elsewhere in the world, Glenn Gould publishes the "Goldberg Variations", Thelonious Monk is about to record "Brilliant Corners", John Cage composes "Radio Music". Soon Ornette Coleman will lose his job as an elevator boy in a department store. He's been playing his plastic saxophone for two years and there are still four to go before "Free Jazz".MF hardly remembers those days. Would catch up later on.In the late fall of 1968 listening to the radio from the back seat of his father’s car, he is confirmed that "Hey Jude" is for another week at the lead of the "Hit Parade". That single and that group from Liverpool will mark his existence. He quickly learns to play the guitar. In the mid 70s he’s gifted the book "Jazz" by Arrigo Polillo. From 2009 to 2011 he leads the workshop "The Sign Of Sound" on writing, improvisation and electronics at the Teatro Arsenale in Milano. In 2013 he is a founding member of TAI No-Orchestra/Terra Australis Incognita, the new "brand" of improvisation that involves some leading musicians in the Milan area and long distance guests.

MARKUS MARKOWSKI - guitars, electronics

Markus Markowski (*1970), musician and soundartist, works and lives in Bremen (GER).Starting as a Guitarist in the 80ies, he composed and played all kind of music in several ensembles in the range of new jazz, hardcore, ethnic music to electronic music.Since 1990 he worked on concepts for musical improvisation for several players and developed experimental instruments as KLANGRAD or the REMOTE DRUMS.In 2001 he began to work on computer music, soundsynthesis- and controltechniques. Since then he played live concerts with self programmed software instruments using a multichannel sound projection, also with prepared guitar as soundsource and to control software parameters.Markowski plays as member of the ensemble HKM+ with several musicians of the New Jazz szene in New York, such as Christof Knoche, Kirk Knuffke, Geoff Gersh, Miles Okazaki or Kenny Wollesen. With HKM+ he also worked with swiss artists as Cyril Bondi, Dincise or Christian Weber.Also there is a permanent collaboration between soundartist Ludger Hennig and Markowski represented in concerts with i. e. Guenter Heinz or video artist Ursula Scherrer.As part of the improvised music szene in his hometown Markowski plays with musicians as Uli Sobotta or Nils Gerold. He is also member of the jazz-what-ever band FRANKS FARM and of the MIB Festival Ensemble with Eckhard Petri and Guenther Spaeth among others.Since 2014 Markowski plays in the ensemble KLANK with Christof Ogiermann, R. Hammerschmidt, Tim Schomacker and Hainer Woermann. With KLANK he collaborates amongst other things with composers Hans-Joachim Hespos, Matthias Kaul, Anton Wassiljew, Eckard Beinke.With the trio MACH cast of Hannes Clauss, Reinhart Hammerschmidt, Markowski works on all styles of contemporary music, also on aspects as philosophy and music with Dr. phil. Silke Wulf.
